Liquid Energy: Fast Iced Mocha for Busy Mornings
I don't function without caffeine. I wish I did. I would prefer to not be dependent on any substance but this is where I am right now. If I don't have a coffee in the morning I don't get anything done and there is just too much to do. I need a lot of caffeine so I typically grind the beans at home to maximize the caffeine content but with driving my husband to my train in early morning there is no time. Also this summer it is too hot for hot coffee. I have thrown this drink together the last few days and today I actually measured the ingredients. I think it tastes pretty good. I would choose this over buying a cafe version and it happens to be a whole lot cheaper.
What you need:
2 tbsp chocolate syrup
2 tsp instant coffee
4 ice cubes
3/4 cups of soy milk
1/2 cup of water
1 tsp sugar (optional) Even with the optional sugar there is a lot less sugar in this than a store bought iced mocha.
What to do:
Put all ingredients into a drink container with a lid.
Put lid on tightly.
Enjoy your drink and conquer your day.
